blog post 13 EDM310 class blog MelissaKeeler

First go to Roman Technology and check out what it has to offer. Next go to 10 innovations

After going to these places answer the question What technologies did the Romans give to us? and Without these innovations where would our civilization be?

I did this and discovered that our civilization owes quite a bit to the Romans. The roads we travel on, The surgeries we practice still to this day, How our water is delivered to us and our sewage is taken away from us, and many other daily things we may not associate with the Romans and their great culture.

    1. Ancient Rome is eerily similar to our society today. If we do not take heed, I fear that history WILL repeat itself as it tends to do and our "great" nation will fall. Our infrastructure is falling apart daily and the Government is spiraling out of control. You accidentally forgot to put the u in you. :-)

  2. Wow! We do owe a lot to the Romans. They were the founders of many things that we still use today. Things like the calendar and some surgeries. These were only a few examples of the many things. I learned so much from this blog post. It was very interesting.
